Framed around human experience, not diagnosis.

Symptoms are real, and so is the life underneath them. The work here is organized less by diagnosis and more by the experiences that leave people feeling furthest from themselves.

You do not need to fit neatly into one of these categories. Most people don’t. Human beings are more complex than diagnoses, and healing rarely happens one issue at a time. Wherever we begin, we will follow the thread that matters most.

01 · Individual

Individual Therapy

For people who feel disconnected from themselves, emotionally exhausted, stuck in old patterns of survival, or unable to fully show up in their own lives.

When life looks functional from the outside but feels exhausting from the inside.

You may have spent years being the one who is fine. The reliable one. The capable one. The one who manages everyone else’s needs, reactions, and emotions while quietly setting their own aside. From the outside, things look held together. From the inside, there is a long-running tiredness underneath it all.

Individual therapy here is a place to put the holding together down for a while. To discover what is underneath. To meet the parts of you that have been carrying so much for so long and ask them, gently, what they have been protecting.

Over time, people often begin to notice…

  • trusting themselves more
  • feeling less driven by fear
  • setting boundaries without overwhelming guilt
  • understanding what their anxiety has been protecting
  • feeling more like themselves again

02 · Couples

Couples Therapy

For couples caught between protection and connection. The same fight on repeat, and the longing underneath it.

For couples whose ways of protecting themselves have begun to look like disconnection.

Most couples do not come in because they have stopped loving each other. They come in because the ways they have learned to protect themselves have begun to look, from across the room, like they have stopped loving each other.

Together, we become curious about questions like:

  • What are we protecting when we argue?
  • What happens between us when one of us shuts down?
  • Why does the same conflict keep returning?
  • What longing lives underneath the defensiveness?
  • What becomes possible when both partners feel emotionally safe?

Over time, couples often begin to experience…

  • feeling less alone in the relationship
  • recognizing the cycle sooner
  • becoming more emotionally accessible to one another
  • feeling safer telling the truth
  • finding their way back to connection

03 · Grief

Grief & Ambiguous Loss

For the losses that change a life, whether they are recognized by others or not.

Some grief is recognized. There is a date, a service, a name to put on the loss. Other grief is harder to name out loud: estrangement from family. A faith you can no longer practice. A relationship that ended without ending. A future you had quietly built your life around that never arrived.

Ambiguous loss is real loss. It deserves a real place to be felt. This is one of the signature areas of my practice, and one of the places where I believe people are most often left to grieve alone.

04 · Identity

Identity & Belonging

For people sorting through who they were told to be and who they are becoming — quietly, often privately, sometimes for the first time.

This work often finds people in transition: leaving a religious community, coming out, questioning long-held assumptions, or returning to themselves after years of performing a role. The question underneath is rarely who am I? It is usually am I allowed to be that?

This room is here for the parts of you that have been waiting for permission to exist. You will not have to argue for them here.
